Is there an App for WiFire Remote?

No, there is no app for WiFire Remote. However, you can make a website act just like an app.

‚ÄčOnce set-up, the icon will take you right to the website and, ‚Äčif already logged into WiFire Remote, will allow you to manage your fireplace.

What is WiFire Remote?

WiFire Remote is a web based universal dry contact millivolt/low-volt DC remote control. WiFire Remote will allow millivolt-controlled and single contact electronic ignition appliances, such as gas fireplaces and gas stoves, to be operated with a computer, tablet or smart device that has an internet or cell connection.

Do I need a WiFire Remote for each fireplace?

Yes. A WiFire Remote controller is needed for each fireplace or stove.

Can WiFire Remote control more than one fireplace?

 No. There needs to be a WiFire Remote unit installed in each fireplace.

Can a homeowner install WiFire Remote?

Yes, we have included detailed instructions at www.wifireremote.com, ‘How It Works’, ‘Installation’. Please read through the instructions thoroughly before you begin the installation to familiarize yourself with the product and the process.  If for any reason, you would prefer the unit to be installed by a fireplace professional contact your local hearth dealer or to find a local dealer click on the “Shop” link and then “Find a Dealer”.

What if I have a problem before or after my WiFire Remote is installed?

Call the Helpdesk: The helpdesk is managed by experienced fireplace professionals. You can reach the helpdesk by calling: 800-494-3473 - Monday – Friday - 9am to 4pm Mountain time.

To manage the issue on line: After you have registered as a customer - Log on to shop.wifireremote.com, click on your email address at the top of the page, click on Support Request, Create Ticket. Your ticket will be reviewed by a member of the Alpine Research Helpdesk and you will receive a response within 4 hours.   You will be able to monitor the progress of the ticket and communicate with the helpdesk through this portal.

Who is Alpine Research LLC?

Alpine Research is a company based out of Little Deer Isle, Maine that was formed by two brothers; one a successful software engineer living in Maine, the other a retail fireplace shop owner in Colorado with over 20 years of experience in the fireplace industry. How can I become a Dealer for WiFire Remote?

If you are Hearth retailer you can become a WiFire Remote dealer by completing an Application for Dealer Status.

Click on the Become a Dealer link at the top of the Home page, complete the application and submit. We will review your request and respond to you via the email address provided on the application.
