What if my WiFire Remote does not power up in ‘Listening Mode’?

Place the WiFire Remote in the vertical position, power cord facing up, and the WiFire Remote label facing you. You will see an LED in the center and 2 small buttons (one on each side of the center LED). Hold the left button down for 5-10 seconds and the center LED will then be start blinking dark blue aka “listening mode”.

What do you mean by Primary User?

The Primary User is the initial person set up on the WiFireRemote account. They are the person who will be able to add and delete users and administer permission to other users to run the WiFireRemote. The primary user can also retract the permission to run any particular fireplace.

If I hook up WiFire Remote to my stove/fireplace and it already has a remote - can I use both?

No. It is never a good idea to have 2 different controls on the same heating unit.
