Why do I need to provide a User Name and Password at the time I initially purchase WiFire Remote?

When purchasing WiFire Remote you will be asked to provide a User Name and Password at checkout.

  • Setting up a User Name & Password during the purchase process allows you to track your purchases, review your order history, simplify future orders and gives you the opportunity to stay informed of any future WiFireRemote improvements.
  • This User Name & Password chosen by the user during the purchase process is not the information that will ultimately be used to access your fireplace or stove controls (unless, of course, the user choses to enter the same information during the installation process).

Do I need a Wi-Fi signal to control WiFire Remote?

No. WiFire Remote will run on both cell phone or Wi-Fi connection.

Can more than one smartphone, tablet or computer control my fireplace(s) or stove(s)?

Yes. The User can have 1 or more devices registered to control your fireplace(s)or stove(s). Once the primary user is set up they access their fireplace or stove using a browser, like Chrome or Firefox. The primary user may allow other users access as well.

Do I need a WiFire Remote for each fireplace?

Yes. A WiFire Remote controller is needed for each fireplace or stove.

Can WiFire Remote control more than one fireplace?

 No. There needs to be a WiFire Remote unit installed in each fireplace.

Can I control more than one fireplace or stove from my WiFire Remote account?

Yes. A user can control as many gas stove/ fireplaces they desire, as long as a WiFire Remote is connected to each stove/fireplace.

Can WiFire Remote tell me the temperature of the room my fireplace or stove is in?

Yes. The unit is installed with a temperature probe that continually reads the room temperature and sends this information to the Cloud to be available to the user when requested.

When using WiFire Remote what prevents my fireplace from overheating?

We have designed the WiFire Remote to include a micro thermostat which will turn off the fireplace or stove if the device temperature exceeds 135˚. There are two safety features that prevent the fireplace from overheating.  The software programing will shut the unit down if it reaches 135˚ and, if that fails an electronic feature will shut the fireplace down if it detects 140˚.

Can I add or delete individuals to control my fireplace(s) or stove(s)?

Yes. Once the Primary user is set up they can add or delete anyone to control the fireplace(s).

Password: From log-in page - Click on Forgot Password.
